Evaluation Report: The Peasant Prince Workshops 2024
The Peasant Prince in-school workshops were a key component of Monkey Baa’s 2024 program, designed to extend the impact of the live performance and deepen students’ engagement with theatre through meaningful, curriculum-aligned learning experiences.
Delivered directly in schools across Australia, the workshops created opportunities for students to explore creativity, build confidence and develop critical thinking through artist-led, interactive activities.
Feedback from educators highlights the strength of the program, with 95% of teachers reporting high levels of student engagement and satisfaction, based on more than 77 responses.

Bringing Stories to Life
Through interactive exercises, students explored the themes of The Peasant Prince including resilience, migration and identity. The workshops enabled young people to connect these ideas to their own lives, with 93% of teachers noting meaningful engagement with cultural themes.
