Detention

Detention, based on the novel by Tristan Bancks will be adapted by Kobra Sayyadi and Callan Purcell. Original concept by Callan Purcell.

A powerful story, the production will connect young people to the experiences of unsettled refugees from Afghanistan. This production will explore stories and themes not often seen on the mainstage, especially for younger audiences.

Through the lens of two young characters, Detention will explore what it is to be displaced & dispossessed.

Based on the book by Tristan Bancks and adapted Kobra Sayyadi by Callan Purcell.
