Ticketing
Can I get a refund?

All ticket sales are final as stated in the LPA ticketing code of practice. We are unfortunately unable to offer refunds for change of mind. You are entitled to a refund if the performance is cancelled or postponed.

I missed the performance! Can I please get new tickets?

We are unable to provide exchanges or refunds for missed performances. You can purchase new tickets for an upcoming performance, subject to availability. 

 

Can I exchange my tickets?

You can exchange your tickets to a different performance of the same show for a fee of $5. Ticket exchanges are subject to availability. Please submit your refund request by email to admin@monkeybaa.com.au.

What if I get COVID?

If you contracted COVID-19 and you choose not to come to the theatre you will be offered an exchange (where possible) or a refund of your ticket purchase. 

Does my child need a ticket?

Children under 2 years are free of charge (unless the event is specifically for children under 2 years of age) and must remain seated in a carer’s lap for the duration of the performance.

Can my child attend without me?

All children below 12 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian into the theatre. We welcome independent theatre going and children over 12 years can attend the performances unaccompanied, however, the venue cannot take responsibility for their safety. 

Performances
What happens if I’m running late for a performance?

Depending on the performance you’re attending, you may be able to enter the theatre straight away or may be held outside the theatre until you are able to enter. To minimise disruption you may be allocated a seat different to one you have selected.

How long are the performances?

I need to sit in a specific area in the theatre, can you help?

Where can I leave my pram during a show?

Pram parking is located inside the foyer and outside the theatre. Prams are not permitted inside the theatre. Valuables should not be left in the pram when unattended.

What are your opening hours?

Our Box Office hours are 9am-4pm, Monday-Thursday and 1 hour prior to performances.

Who manages the ARA Darling Quarter theatre?

The theatre is managed by Monkey Baa Theatre Company and we are also the resident theatre company here. The ARA Darling Quarter Theatre is owned by Lendlease Funds Management Limited. 

Who produces the shows at ARA Darling Quarter Theatre?

Monkey Baa presents great theatre for young people at the ARA Darling Quarter Theatre. This includes Monkey Baa produced work. For more information visit www.monkeybaa.com.au. All other shows are community or other arts groups that utlilise our theatre. These shows are not presented by Monkey Baa.
