Equitable Access to Theatre
We want to give every young person access to inspiring theatre, no matter their circumstance. Through providing free tickets and transport to the theatre, to touring our works to remote Australia, to working deep in the community we bring the joy of theatre to communities who may not have otherwise had access.
Supporting Learning and Creativity
Participation in theatre helps young people develop creativity, self-expression collaboration skills. Our learning programs give them a place to spark their imaginations; a place to explore and understand the world and their place in it. We do this through our workshops in schools, our learning resources and our dynamic Artists-in-Schools program.
Developing Young Creative Careers
A thriving arts sector needs new and bright talent. Young people exploring creative careers and artists starting out require time, space and support. Through internships, our Youth Advisory Council and artist support programs, we are deeply dedicated to strengthening the next generation of artists.
Creating Bold New Work
We have big plans for creating new theatrical works that resonate with young people and their families. We are telling stories that must be on our stages and stories that deeply connect with young people and their experiences of our world today. Our focus is on crafting narratives that engage and challenge, ensuring each production is a reflection of their diverse realities and sparks meaningful conversations.
