Monkey Baa Theatre Company provides quality arts education experiences for young people. Our work with teachers and students links to our productions, and serves our aspiration that theatre be an intrinsic part of every young person’s life.
Our education season offers a variety of acclaimed productions for both primary and secondary students.
We also tour a Teaching Artist with our productions. This tutor facilitates practical workshops linking to our shows that give students a greater sense of involvement in what they go on to see at the theatre.
Monkey Baa has a suite of Professional Development courses for teachers, and we travel across the country delivering quality learning for educators. We also provide teacher resources to tie in with our productions (you will find these under the information for each production).
To find out more about our wide range of workshops, teacher Professional Development programs and emerging artist initiatives please contact our Education Manager, Melanie Griffith.

All work experiences places for 2018 have now been filled. 2019 placements will open at the end of this year. Check back here for more details.
monkey baa education advisory panel (MEAP)
MEAP is our direct conduit to educators, and allows us to accelerate the improvement of our work in teaching and learning. MEAP is made up of a diverse panel of passionate educators, and we love giving them the VIP treatment by inviting them to the opening nights of our Monkey Baa shows. If you would like to join MEAP, please contact Monkey Baa’s Education Manager, Melanie Griffith or by calling 02 8624 9341.
We are very grateful to our Education Partners for making this program possible.
