Celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Rooster with a magical theatrical adventure around the Chinese Garden of Friendship!

Follow the naughty monkey in a twilight search for the missing ball of friendship. What happens when he encounters the dragons, the lion and the fearsome wizard?

This interactive performance for ages 8+ is an imaginative journey of friendship, fun and forgiveness written and presented by the award-winning Monkey Baa Theatre Company.

(Please note that audience members will follow actors around the Chinese Garden of Friendship, so will need to be mobile. The Garden is wheelchair accessible).

terms & conditions

  • Email confirmation must be presented at the entrance of the Chinese Garden of Friendship as proof of payment.
  • Refunds will only be issued if the event is cancelled by Monkey Baa Theatre Company. No refunds will be offered in any other circumstances.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your booked show, latecomers may not be accommodated if the session has already commenced.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • The Chinese Garden of Friendship is partially wheelchair accessible.
  • Please bring comfortable footwear suitable for walking, sunscreen and wet weather protection (raincoat/umbrella). 
  • All activities will proceed in the event of wet weather.
