Winner of the Glug Award for Most Outstanding Production for Children
Monkey Baa Theatre Company was proudly presented with a Glug Award for Most Outstanding Production for Children for Diary of a Wombat at the annual Glug Awards on Monday 5 February. The production, based on the book by Jackie French and Bruce Whatley was reimagined for the stage by Eva Di Cesare, Sandra Eldridge and Tim McGarry.
Creative Director Eva Di Cesare was on hand to receive the award which holds a special significance for the Monkey Baa team as the Glugs group have “always felt like family”, said Ms Di Cesare.
The Glugs are a group over distinguished theatre lovers, founded by Norman Kessell, Bill Fenn, JCW’s PR man John Love, and ABC producer Allan Kendall 52 years ago.
