loading dock:
The loading dock is located off Harbour St. Follow the signs to the McDonalds Drive Thru. Drive right the way around, as if ordering. The loading dock roller door is opposite the waiting bay area of the Drive Thru.

Darling Quarter has everything families need for a great day out. Explore the amazing playground, relax on the community green or enjoy lunch in a selection of cafes and restaurants. Nestled between the Chinese Garden of Friendship and Darling Harbour, there’s always something to do after the show!

Arriving by car
Wilson Parking Darling Quarter is accessed via Harbour Street.

For buses travelling through the CBD along Elizabeth, Castlereagh, George or York streets, alight the bus at Market, Park, Druitt, Bathurst or Liverpool streets and walk down towards Darling Harbour.

For schools: The bus drop-off point is on Pier Street. Enter Pier Street via Harbour Street.

The closest train station is Town Hall. Exit south onto Bathurst Street. Walk to the bottom of Bathurst, turning left into Day Street. Cross the lights at Harbour Street and you’re in Darling Quarter.

The closest light rail stop is Exhibition.

Catch a ferry to Darling Harbour and alight at Darling Harbour Wharf 3 or Pyrmont Bay Wharf.

Babes in Arms
Babies under 2 are welcome to attend shows free on the knee and don’t require a ticket (unless the show is designed for those under 2 years). Babies must remain in their parent’s or guardian’s arms at all times.

Pram Parking
Pram parking is located inside the foyer and outside the theatre. Prams are not permitted inside the theatre. Valuables shouldn’t be left in the pram when unattended.

Unaccompanied Children
All children below 12 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the theatre. The venue does not take responsibility for the safety of unaccompanied children over the age of 12.

Refunds and Exchanges


We have introduced a more flexible ticketing policy to allow patrons to exchange tickets if you are feeling unwell or unable to attend due to COVID-19 testing self-isolation or quarantine.

    • Please contact us on 8624 9340 up to 2 hours prior to a performance to exchange your ticket for another session day/time within the Season (a refund will be offered if this is unachievable).
    • No fees will be charged for COVID-19 related ticket changes.



    • Refunds are not provided except in accordance with the LPA Code of Practice.
      In the event a refund is granted at the discretion of Monkey Baa Theatre Company management, any charged fee may be retained to the extent permitted by law.
    • Ticket exchanges are permitted on a case by case basis only. When permitted, exchanges are charged at $5 per transaction. Tickets can only be exchanged within the same season of a show and for an equal or greater value.
