Diary of a Wombat – Creative Development part 2

October 21st, 2016

Starting Monday 24th October, the full creative team for Diary of a Wombat will come together in a rehearsal room and begin what is to be the most important week in the creative development process.

Puppet maker, Bryony Anderson hands over her stunning creation, Mothball to the team who will begin to work with her for the very first time. Several sequences from the book will be tested with Mothball and various specially-made props.

Discussions of scale and perspective, tackling some of the more difficult scenes involving Mothball and her environment and testing the portrayal of some of the book’s key moments will take place before author, Jackie French joins the team on Friday to meet Mothball for the very first time.
