An 'Urban' Exploration of Adaptation
A partnership with Urban Myth Theatre of Youth
Working with young members aged between 16 – 26 years from South Australia’s Urban Myth Youth Theatre, Monkey Baa will conduct a series of creative development workshop’s exploring the adaptation process.
Exploring a South Australian novel, the aim of this project is to work intensively over a two week period and adapt the novel into the first draft of a theatrical script.
In 2009 a Monkey Baa company member will return to Urban Myth and direct the production.
This is the first time Monkey Baa works in association with a company that produces work with young people - exciting and valuable collaboration.
