The Story

Why does Pearlie the park fairy wake up one morning to find her park in complete chaos?

The frogs are trying to spin webs,
Mother Duck is swinging from tree to tree
and the Brush Possums are paddling in the pond and trying to quack!

What on earth is going on? Didn't the animals read the detailed instructions Pearlie left for them on the front gate?

Then she hears loud laughing and spies two long skinny tails sticking out of a drain.

Pearlie's eyes flash! She's MAD!

Who's been meddling with her note?

Two rascally rats Scrag and Mr Flea are about to incur the wrath of one very annoyed Fairy.

…and what the critics have said…

…the impulse to interact, to make noise, to lose yourself in a show, suspend your disbelief and to have a lots of fun is an innate response to a production like Wendy Harmer’s Pearlie in the Park.

This is an outstanding show by Monkey Baa. I can’t wait for the next!

Feedback

"Very pink and very funny"

"A wonderful production, highly entertaining to my 20 preschoolers as well as the parents and teachers. We were very impressed with the simple yet effective costuming and found the humour appropriate to this age group and a little for the adults!! Thank you for coming out west and keep on coming!!! It certainly has inspired me to include more drama as part of our preschool program!!"
