As the landscape for Monkey Baa evolves, I'm excited to share the progress we've made and the dynamic path that lies ahead. Since our announcement in August 2023 about focusing on our core mission as a producing company, we've been diligently refining our new business model. The journey so far has been incredibly rewarding.
The year 2024 is shaping up to be a landmark one for us. We're embarking on tours across regional Australia, bringing our performances to more locations, creating innovative new works, and delivering our acclaimed workshops to schools and communities throughout the country. Monkey Baa's mission has always transcended physical spaces; it's about the impact and connection of our work with young audiences everywhere.
Our ability to inspire and empower young people through theatre continues to grow, thanks to the unwavering support of our donors, Government, partners and sponsors. This collaboration enables us to extend our reach, bringing meaningful stories and experiences to thousands of young Australians.
Looking forward to 2024, we're thrilled about our ongoing projects, including the metropolitan tour of Possum Magic and the upcoming National Tour of The Peasant Prince. This year promises to be one of significant change, growth, and enthusiasm. We are eager to share these developments with families, educators, artists, creatives, industry partners and especially the young people we serve.
