Sandie's first time on stage was as one of the cats in Noah's Ark when she was five.

At 12, and now living in Australia, Sandie started drama classes and then went on to perform with numerous amateur theatre companies in her local area. By 17 she had a certificate in theatre design and appeared in her first commercial. She was to be found at the Chimera Acting School in Perth, most weekends. At 20 she had her first professional break portraying Daisy McCall in the mini series A Fortunate Life. She then worked professionally as an actor in Perth for four years before attending the acting course at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Three years later she found herself embarking on a career in Sydney.

In 1997 Sandie formed Monkey Baa with Eva Di Cesare and Tim McGarry. Some of Sandie's theatre credits include The Memory of Water, For the Love of Alma, Twelfth Night, The Women, Summer Of The Seventeenth Doll, Hester, Anais Nin, The Heiress,  Top Girls, Hearts Desire, Tom and Clem, Jake and Pete, The Bugalugs Bum Thief, The Fairy's Wings, Worry Warts and Sprung!

Credits for TV and film include All Saints, White Collar Blue, Backberner, Sisterly Love, Children's Hospital, Spellbinder, A Fortunate Life, The Distance Between and the short films, Birthday Party and El Machiato.

For Monkey Baa Sandie has directed Hitler’s Daughter, The Prospectors and The Bugalugs Bum Thief.

Sandie loves second hand shops and afternoon tea.
