Emily Eyefinger

Monkey Baa will produce and tour an exciting stage adaptation based on the award winning Emily Eyefinger series by Duncan Ball for young people ages 5-10.  Opening at The Seymour Centre in July School Holidays, the production will then tour to Wagga Wagga, Orange, Griffith, Parramatta, Penrith, and Coffs Harbour before ending it’s tour at the Arts Centre, Melbourne. GOODBYE JAMIE BOYD
Creative Development

Tackling themes of mental health, schizophrenia and drug abuse, Elizabeth Fensham's powerful verse novel will be developed for the stage in collaboration with WA’s Buzz Dance Theatre. The adaptation process will commence in February 2011 with Monkey Baa hosting Creative Development Part 1 in Sydney (May 2011). Buzz Dance Theatre will host Part 2 of the Creative Development in Perth in October 2011.

I am Jack

Having toured successfully in 2008 and 2009, this excellent one man show, based on the novel by Susanne Gervay, returns in 2011 at the Ipswich Festival of Children's Literature in September followed by a short school season at The Seymour Centre Sydney in October/ November. READ MORE >>

2011  Workshop Programs

As well as continuing the RIPPA partnership with Wagga Civic Theatre, Griffith Regional Theatre and Albury PAC, 2011 will see the company embark on the Arts Ed Project in collaboration with UTS, Darwin Entertainment Centre, Burdekin Theatre in Ayr and Mount Isa Civic Centre, Take the Stage Program in Dubbo, and an Intergenerational Workshop program in collaboration with Casula Powerhouse and Merrigong Theatre Company in Wollongong.
